The Ironman Poker Challenge, which took place in 2012 at the Delaware Park casino in the U.S., was recognized by Guinness World Records as the longest poker tournament (Longest Continuous Poker Tournament).
The event attracted 192 players, who battled for 36 hours, 34 minutes and 11 seconds - without the right breaks - until the victory of the Czech Konas Peter, who made $ 27.1 mil.
The tournament was duly witnessed and documented by the regulator of gambling in the state, which sent all the documentation for the approval of Guinness.
"We are exceptionally proud to be the home of an event that made history. The Ironman Poker Challenge attracted excellent and dedicated players, and we are very happy that Guinness has recognized the strength and caliber of our players and staff of Delaware Park that supported them, "said the vice president of the casino.
